We are always proud to support the Wandle Fortnight – where communities and groups from across the area come together to celebrate the local area.
This year at 10.30am on Saturday 20th September the local community led Morden Hall Park Walk and Talk group are organising a friendly get together involving a beautiful and relaxed Walk and Talk along the banks of the Wandle and through the Wandle Valley. You can enjoy local nature and wildlife whilst whiling away a lovely morning with great conversation.
Starting at this wonderful National Trust property, the group will wind their way to the historic Merton Abbey Mills – made famous by William Morris and Liberty printing and now a thriving hub of shops, cafes, markets and independent businesses.
Free refreshments will be provided at Merton Abbey Mills and other local Walk and Talk groups will be invited – so the relaxed and friendly conversation can continue.
Everyone is welcome. No bookings or reservations needed just turn up at the meeting point below for 10.30am on 20th September 2025.
