We have a really lovely time at our King George’s Park Walk and Talk launch – enjoying this great green space in the heart of Wandsworth.

The Deputy Mayor of Wandsworth, Councillor Sana Jafri and Fleur Anderson local MP for Putney, Roehampton & Southfields were our very special guests and joined in the fun – and a celebratory Walk and Talk cup cake with us.

The great news is we will now be walking and talking every Saturday at 10.30am from the Walk and Talk banner next to the West Hill in the Park Children’s centre, just around the lake from the bandstand near the corner of Neville Gill Close and Buckhold Road.

Our big thanks go to Andy Adamson – an inspirational local volunteer that is responsible for this brilliant King George’s Park Walk and Talk – and Jane Tingle our Wandsworth Walk and Talk Champion.

Come and join the King George’s Park Walk and Talk at 10.30am every Saturday for a variety of local walk and talks together.

The area has some great green spaces and a lot of really interesting history and places to see. No bookings or reservations and walk and talks are always free. Just look out for the green t-shirts and backpacks and a welcoming smile.

We also discovered a great little spot to enjoy together – the Bean Counter Trailer – for a good chat and a coffee – you can find out more about them here.

So come and join us any Saturday at 10.30am in King George’s Park and you never know what we will discover together – but you can be sure we will have a good walk, a laugh, a get together and a chat.
